Pet’s Go to Heaven

Two weeks ago, our nine and a half year old Yorkshire Terrier, Tobie, died unexpectedly five days after receiving a rabies shot. He was always a barker and never barked again after the shot. He had been given a good bill of health prior to the injection and was a happy little guy. Tobie passed away in my arms. I am very grateful that I was able to comfort him and keep him close to me during those last few days , and so grateful that I didn’t have to put him down as God had made that decision for me. Our five year old Jack Russell Terrier, Indie, has been having a hard time with his friend gone. Indie is not much of barker…the house is so quiet now.

After a lot of tears and feeling like there is a void in our life we carry on day to day. It is funny how you can miss all the noise. It was Tobie’s way of saying to us, “I’m here, pay attention”. Since Tobie’s death, I have seen his spirit twice when I have awoken in the night by the side of my bed. I know that he’s just reminding me that he is around. It is comforting and brought back a past memory of a rabbit we had many years ago named Snow White. We had to put him down within six months of his sister’s (Licorice’s) death. I could barely sign the papers, as I was overwhelmed with grief at having to come to that decision. In being alone, Snow White would not eat and became very sick. I missed him so much. Within a year, I kept seeing two spirits on in bedroom door holding Snow White. One spirit was a chubby man with curly dark brown hair, and the other was a beautiful woman with long blondish brown hair wearing a flowing gown. When looking at me, they would smile, nod, and pet Snow White. I knew that they were showing me that he was in heaven, and being taken care of and loved.

This unique experience taught me how God, our angels, spirit guides, and deceased loved ones are watching over us and comfort us when we are in need of reassurance in ways that are significant to us individually. Both times when I asked God for a sign if my pets that past on were okay, God showed me love and compassion. It’s so important to believe that we are watched over and if we ask, the spiritual realm will intervene.

Tarots (The Major Arcana)

Most Tarot decks consist of 78 cards, of which are divided into 2 groups – the Major Arcana (22 Cards) and the Minor Arcana (56 Cards, with four suits; Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles.)



If Tarots were an apple, the Major Arcana’s would be its core   These cards represent the physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional (strengths, weaknesses, hopes, and fears) and facets of mankind. Some Major Arcana’s depict archetypal figures, such as; religious leader, a maternal, nature-oriented woman, a strong, masculine figure of authority, or a magical, intuitive individual. The illustration behind these characters further symbolizes their specified personality traits, and foretells whether they are a positive or negative influence.



The Major Arcana (22 Cards): 



(1) The Fool - Major transitions, movement; whether a new life, home or job. Positive qualities; innocence, trust, sense of adventure, new beginning – taking risks. Being in the right place at the right time.



(2) Magician -If representing the Querent, they are a dynamic, highly intelligent person. A powerful man may enter their life.   A time of action, a great opportunity for new beginnings – self-confidence to direct one’s life. One who is convincing, with the ability to talk others into anything – creating miracles. There may be an element of trickery involved if representing an individual.



(3) High Priestess – Divine fate and destiny. May indicate an element of surprise. Promising signs of potential yet to be fulfilled. A time of study and learning. Spiritual enlightenment.  Psychic forces – pay attention to your dreams.



(4) The Empress – A wise and decisive woman – reminding that things take time and patience to grow.  Could symbolize creativity, marriage, or a birth – fertility and nurturing.  May indicate a house, move, or relocation to be closer to nature.



(5) The Emperor – If drawn for the Querent, they are the Master of their own fate.  A man with an air of authority about him, with a strong physical presence – a father, judge, or political leader.  Commanding power and strength (control). Could signify a business opportunity, pertaining to the material world.

(8) The Chariot – Personal determination – a hard won victory, achievement.  Reaching a goal, winning, or overcoming obstacles. Can describes movement – travel or vehicles.



 
(9) Strength – Querent needs to have courage, to succeed and persevere. Strength and stamina. Patience, compassion, and ability to get a point across.  Protect one’s territory.  Mental telepathy (picking up on others thoughts.)



(10)The Hermit – Introspection – seeing things from a different perspective.  Seeking the truth.  The Hermit is a seeker, a loner and wise (due to spending time in solitude reflecting on issues.) Personal growth – a journey may be in store.



 
(11) The Wheel of Fortune – Karma and destiny. Heralds a very significant change in the pattern of life.  Movement, change, and evolution.  Payback for the good things that have been done. The Querent will get the job or money they need.



 
(12) Justice – Doing what is necessary – no matter how hard it is to gain equilibrium. The laws of cause and effect. Fairness, accountability, often portends to a major decision in regards to a legal issue or job.

(18) The Star – Hope, healing, peace and harmony in the future. Illumination. Clarity, letting energy flow.  This card may represent a person who lives up to their highest potential.



 
(19) The Moon – Cycles, strange behaviour, mood swings. Mental and emotional roller coaster. A time of uncertainty and confusion. Pay attention to phases of the moon and dreams. May represent an individual who follows their instincts. The card of the psychic.



 
(20) The Sun – Radiance, young, healthy, new, and fresh.  Everything falls into place and is going to be alright. Glory and greatness.



(21) Judgement (Angel) – Final settling of accounts.  A big change, perhaps a new career.  Leaving an abusive situation. A different way of seeing things. An awakening and reckoning.  Card of opportunity to correct mistakes and to start a new life. Destiny, inner calling.  Live, rather than exist.



 
(22) The World (Universe) – Coming together of things, possibly a job offer or a trip to an amazing place. This card suggests the healing process. Feeling complete – a time of culmination. Accomplishment and fulfillment.  Travelling, a new home, a graduation, or the admiration of others (depending on the surrounding cards.)

The 56 Minor Arcana Cards (which follow the Major Arcana) consist of Four Suits, which commonly include; Wands, Pentacles, Cups, and Swords (they may differ depending on the deck.) The Minor Arcana’s are the supportive roles, while the Major Arcana’s are the “Brad Pitt” of the reading.   The Minor’s bring clarity through specific details of our concerns, emotions, and experiences, as well as precisely depict the individuals in our everyday lives.



The following is a condensed and an overall view of each of the Minor Arcana Suits:



Suit of Wands (Staves or Batons):



The Suit of Wands corresponds with the element of Fire, the color red, the seasons of Spring and Summer, and the direction South. The astrological influence the signs of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

The Lost City Of Atlantis

Atlantis, be it a mythical place or an entire continent submerged under the sea, contains the secrets of a superior civilization. Said to be paradise on earth, Atlantis was on the center of an island, where there were magnificent temples, palaces, docks, and harbours (designed by great artisans and engineers.) Fruits, vegetables, fragrant flowers and herbs grew in abundance. Fountains (ahead of their times) ran with plentiful hot or cold water. Tamed and wild animals roamed its meadows and forests. The earth was rich in precious metals, such gold, silver, brass, tin, and ivory.



The people were highly intelligent and intuitive (like the Ancient Egyptians), had a gentle and loving disposition, and prized virtue above all. Atlanteans used powerful quartz crystals to store information and to pick up on energy vibrations. A common practice of healing was the laying out of stones.



Atlantis thrived in approximately 9,600 BC.  Suddenly, in “a day and a night” under the Atlantic Ocean, a great volcano erupted or a huge earthquake or tsunami occurred. The catastrophic geological event completely destroyed Atlantis and buried it beneath the sea.



So where is the lost city? I believe that Atlantis is in North Bimini, (in the Bermuda Triangle.)



If Atlantis is discovered, we will know the answers of the many questions on the Atlanteans advanced intelligence, technology, and spirituality. Let’s hope our society will learn from them someday.



Psychometry

If objects could talk, what would they say? A person with psychometric abilities can sense the history of an item by touching it. The term psychometric was first discussed by Joseph Rhodes Buchanan (an American scientist) in 1842. It was formed from the Greek words psychic (soul) and metron (measure), which means soul-measuring or measurement of the human soul.



For the real Allison Dubois, psychometry is not a method, but a psychic gift. She receives clairvoyant visions from the vibrations of objects. Allison often assists police in finding missing persons and perpetrators of crimes, just from touching items from the scene. Sounds pretty easy doesn’t it? But Allison would be the first to tell you, it takes time and skill to know; whether her vision has occurred in the past, present or will in the future, and what it really means.

Was it Really a Lucky Penny?

Synchronicity and Coincidence are often confused, although they are quite opposite in meaning. Coincidence is the alignment of events or circumstances with no obvious connection, and thus, merely chance. Synchronicity is the alignment of events or circumstances which are casually unrelated that coincide in a meaningful way. lol I don’t mean to sound like a dictionary here, but it’s important to distinguish the two.



We have all had times when we were thinking about someone, then happened to run in to them. Or the phone rang, just as we were about to call whomever was on the other line. Was that penny you found really lucky? These are often coincidences, as there is no real significance of these occurrences.



Synchronicities can happen due to; the power of your thoughts and ideas, and divine intervention (which can drastically change your circumstances for the better (a blessing or miracle), or serve as a reminder that you are on the right path.)For example; Identical twins are put up for adoption, then separated, then end up meeting one day at the same time, same place with car trouble, although they lived 600 miles apart.



Personally, I have experienced a true blessing in my life, in which I am eternally grateful for. When I was sixteen years (lol I know that was at least a couple of centuries ago), I was waiting at the bus stop after closing late at work.  Oddly, two men in a white van were circling back and forth around the corner.  I prayed that the bus would show up soon, miraculously it came 25 minutes prior to its scheduled time. Chillingly, about 6 months later, 2 men were arrested for the brutal murder of 2 women.  In the local paper, the 2 men admitted that they had planned to rape and kill a girl in the city, but unexpectedly, her bus showed up.  It was the exact same men, vehicle, date, time, and bus stop I was at, and I fit the description.



Look out for your Synchronicities in life. Despite how apparent they may be, there powerful impact can influence the rest of your life.



Time Travel

What if time travel were possible?  The experience could be incredible.  Imagine going back in time to witness a historical event, and interacting with those that were there. How could that affect their futures, and even yours?



For centuries, these questions have intrigued scientists, philosophers and mystics alike.  On understanding the concept of eternity, and the subject of time central to the world’s religions and cultures, can the flow of time be stopped?



Einstein concluded in his later years that the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously.  One of his greatest insights was the realization that time is relative.  It speeds up or slows down depending on how fast one object is moving, relative to something else. So theoretically, one would be able to get to the future without aging, thus a form of time travel.



A Glimpse of “The Time Traveler’s Wife”

This past weekend I had the pleasure of watching this movie, and plan to read the novel in my spare time.   “The Time Traveler’s Wife” is about Clare, a woman who has been in love with Henry for her entire life.  Henry has a rare genetic condition which causes him to time travel.  He has no control over when he leaves or returns to Clare.  She believes that they are destined to be, and strives to build a life together with her one true love.  It is an enduring love story, showing that love knows no boundaries even between time and space.
Despite the Rotten Tomatoes review, “The Time Traveler’s Wife” is better than “The Notebook” !  Now, you just have to see it! lol  



Do Aliens Exist?

Under the powerful influence of James Cameron’s vivid imagination in Avatar, one can’t help but wonder: is there a world like Pandora out there? Well, astronomers expect to discover moons beyond our solar system. But could they inhabit alien life? Scientists say yes – believing other moons to have key life-related gases (such as oxygen, and water vapour.) Aliens, huh? Well, there’s anticipated to be around 210 sextillion (yes, that’s really a word) planets in our galaxy, we know of 400. With those numbers, it’s hard to believe that there aren’t any other intelligent beings in the universe. But of course they aren’t blue-they’re green! 



Many alien sightings have been proven to be hoaxes. However, there are some incidents, like that of Roswell, that make it pretty hard to discount. The Roswell UFO Incident was the supposed removal of extra-terrestrial debris (including alien corpses) by the government after a UFO crashed near Roswell, New Mexico on or about July 8, 1947. It has been claimed that there were more than 600 witnesses, and that those who knew “too much” received threats from the government to keep quiet. So how did the government explain this event? That it was a military surveillance hot air balloon crash…rigghht Then why be so secretive about it? If you’re ever in Roswell, check out the museum..interesting stuff.



In the media, aliens are often depicted as these creepy little creatures. Just adding to our fears are the stories of the cattle mutilations (cows having been lifted off of the ground, parts removed with surgical precision), and alien abductions (people who attest that they were taken to spaceships for medical experimentation.) With that, they are either evil or just plain curious. But what about the crop circles? Are they really out to destroy our crops? lol Or are they trying to leave us a message to decode in the future?



Aliens would have to have the kind of advanced technology to travel to Earth (which from wherever they are, would have to be millions of light years away.) They’d have to be a superior race. So if they wanted to bring us harm, wouldn’t they have done it by now? If we weren’t so afraid, imagine what we could learn, that is, if aliens really do exist  



The Mystery of Crystal Skulls

Since 1927, thirteen Crystal Skulls have been found throughout the world (United States, Britain, Paris, Guatemala, Honduras, and so on) although they originated from Mexico, Brazil, Central and South America, Mongolia and Tibet. The majority are kept in museums, and some are kept in private collections (they’ve got to be pricey – bet you’d have to be a Rockefeller to afford one.) 



The skulls resemble those of humans, vary in colour, size and gender. The Mayans believed that the crystals had healing properties, and invoked spiritual powers. Through Psychometry, psychics have found that Crystal Skulls contain an astounding amount of energy, and store information on ancient civilizations. These psychics believe that in time, the skulls will enable us to see the past, present and future.



So why are there just thirteen of these? Well, the Mayans associated the number with death, and it is believed that the thirteen Crystal Skulls will be activated on December 21, 2012 (when supposedly, the world ends due to the planets aligning), revealing the secrets of mankind. Others deem that extra terrestrials left the skulls behind (after all, crystals are easily grown in space), or that they are from the Lost City of Atlantis (which was rich in crystals.)



Sceptics’ believe that the Crystal Skulls are a hoax…But how could that be possible? The skulls most unexplainable characteristic is that they were carved against the natural axis of the crystal, which would cause the crystal to shatter, and yet they are intact.  Even with the use of lasers and other advanced cutting methods (using our modern technology); these skulls would be extremely difficult to duplicate.



The mystery remains..How were the Crystal Skulls created?  By whom and why? Could we handle the truth?



Did You Get My Message?

Those who have passed away, whether it was recently or years ago, often return to visit the loved ones (family, close friends, or pets) they left behind. On most occasions, these souls wish to protect, guide and or help us during difficult times.  The deceased may also come back to a special location (perhaps where they once spent a lot of time), or even where they died.



The most common way for spirits to visit is through dreams. Their messages are usually symbolic, and comprise of comforting words or convey unfinished business that they would like the dreamer to take care of. If it is urgent, souls will visit your dreams repeatedly until attention is paid to what they’re communicating.



For these sprits to appear as they once were, it takes a lot of their energy. If you have clairvoyant abilities, you will likely see them throughout the day. Souls will try very hard to relay their messages (to be interpreted.)



Spirits also may show you they are around you by; moving objects, emitting their familiar fragrance, tapping on your shoulder, playing a favorite song over and over again on the radio or in your head.



Sixteen years ago, my father died. I clearly recall a dream that I had of him (about three months after his death.) Before they closed my dad’s casket, I noticed that his friend placed a single yellow rose on his chest.  Prior to my dream, I was extremely stressed, working two jobs. One of them was about to end (taken over by a larger company.)  I was so worried about the future. I missed my father so much. I really needed a sign to know I’d be okay – I no longer had my dad to confide in, or his words of reassurance.



That night, I dreamt that my dad appeared at my front door, handing me a dozen yellow roses. He looked so good, just like he used to before he became ill. My father told me that the flowers were for me, while I kept looking at my hectic life around me. He put his hand on my shoulder, stared at me and said “Listen – pay attention, everything happens for a reason. It will all work out in the long run, have faith. Your life will improve and you will follow your life path, as it was meant to be.  In that moment, I felt so re-assured. He hugged me and I truly felt that he was really there.



Two months later, I registered for a course which would later push me into a new direction in both my career and spirituality.



I sincerely hope that you too will pay attention to your messages. They may change your entire life for the better
