If you look through your collection of photos from over the years, you may notice orbs (as they are often seen behind the people or objects being photographed.)  A paranormal activity, unexplained by science; orbs are often thought to be ghosts in the form of a balls of light. Orbs come in different sizes and colors depending on the frequency of energy they’re emanating. It appears that the spirit energies are trying to manifest themselves, but are unable to fully evolve.

Some say that orbs are trapped souls in this world, unable to move on.  One must wonder, with all of the orbs seen in graveyards, or near places of passing. While others believe that orbs are light energies of loved ones, whom are trying to convey that they are watching over us.

New technology allows us to analyse orbs in fine detail. Often times, human, animal and unexplained images are found inside them. The best time to photograph an orb is at night, in which they can be seen more clearly.

Have you ever felt like you have a shadow, and it’s not yours or Peter Pan’s? Or someone walks by you, but no one is there? Or you look in the mirror and glimpse someone else other than yourself? Don’t be afraid, it’s most likely your Spirit Guide, letting you know that they’re there.  You will have several Spirit Guides throughout your life, depending on your differing circumstances.  They may appear when you least expect it. Usually, you can sense they are with you, although you cannot see them. They may tap on your shoulder, or your arm to get your attention. You may hear a loud voice in your head saying “Step Back!”  (when you are in danger, and not aware that you almost got hit by a car.) No, you are not touched in the head, hearing voices, or schizophrenic. You are being warned for your own safety. Pay attention.

They are there to help you make good decisions and follow your life path, acting in the capacity of your Guardian Angel. The difference between Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels is that Guardian Angels have never walked as mortals upon Earth. Your Spirit Guides may have passed away in the physical life long ago. Spirit Guides walk with you, and stay close by during your entire life.

Ghosts have long been thought of as restless spirits who have stayed on this earth plane in order to complete some unfinished business. Usually, they are not aware that they have died and are trying to communicate with the living. So what do they want? Perhaps they are hungry, trying to get you to make their Mom’s lasagna.

Ghosts are not usually seen until dark and often disappear prior to sunrise.  Clairvoyants and Mediums can see ghosts in the daylight.  Situations such as a sudden unexpected death can trigger a lost soul response from a spirit making them restless and they may try several ways to get your attention.  Hiding objects, which later reappear, having a song play which was their favorite, the smell of smoke will linger in the air (if they were a smoker) or their specific perfume.  Ghosts may come to you in your dreams, relaying a message which you need to pay attention to so that you are able to decipher the meaning.  Try not to get too spooked. If you ever see a ghost, keep in mind that most of the time they are harmless and only want your assistance to help guide them to the “light.” You may have seen this on the TV Show “Ghost Whisper”, surprised it’s true? Nah, Melinda is pretty convincing

Ghosts can also appear as colored round orbs, floating around your room at night when the lights are off and you are trying to sleep. These are energies of spirits from people who have passed away. They may just be letting you know that they are watching over you and protecting you.  If you are afraid of what you are seeing, pray to God, your Spirit Guide, and Guardian Angel to surround you with the white light of God and protect you from any Dark Energies.  As a precaution, I keep sea salt in a jar (needs to be changed every 6 months) and sage in my room to ensure that all Negative Energies (which I may have unintentionally brought from outside of my home) are absorbed when I enter the room. This helps me feel safer and protected spiritually.
