Posted by: Sherise In most readings, dried tea leaves are used and dropped in a teapot where hot water is added. While the individual drinks their tea, ask them to concentrate on a specific question that they would like the answer to. Make sure they leave a bit of tea left before drinking the entire cup. Take the cup in your left hand and swirl it around clockwise three times. Cover the top of the cup with your right hand (making sure to swirl the leaves up and around the sides of the rim.) Look into the cup and start your reading Pay attention to the symbols based on their placement in the cup. On the Rim – these are the big, life changing events. On the Sides – important, but not life altering events. On the Bottom- sometimes means tragedy (but be careful.) Remember to be compassionate, explain things so it doesn’t have such a harsh impact of the individual. Angel: Good news is on the way. Someone is watching over you. Ant: You are an industrious person, but there is more hard work ahead for you. Axe: Someone close to you may be planning to stab you in the back with lies or deceit. Bear: Trouble ahead. Cat: Beware of a person you can’t trust or a relative Clouds: If scattered, troubles will soon disappear. If they are clustered together, you will have money woes. Cross: Difficulties to overcome, but positive conclusion. Flies or Other Insects: Small annoyances will soon become a major problems if not dealt with immediately. Flowers: Love or special recognition by someone. Frog: Dramatic future change is imminent in your life. Horseshoe: Going forward with your plans, with a fortunate outcome. Hour Glass: Take your time while making an important decision. Key: Solutions will become obvious in the near future. Knife: Be careful of legal problems, avoid misunderstandings where possible. Take better care of your health. Leaves: If they appear scattered on the bottom; a productive, busy life Moon: Changes will occur. If it is full, there is romance ahead for you. The Druid Craft Tarot – (2004) Phillip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm , Illustrated by: Will Worthington I’ve selected The Druid as my number one, primarily because I find the Hangman sexy lol So some of the cards maybe a little bit too explicit for some. But the detail on the cards assists in depicting an accurate story. The artwork really exemplifies the ancient times, and is quite extraordinary and magical. They combine Druid and Wicca (Pagan), and integrate the four elements; earth, air, fire, and water. If you like Anime, these cards are for you. The authors inspiration came from somewhere between Egyptian and Greek Mythology, and Manga. There are no oldies like me portrayed in these cards. All of the characters are youthful, and attractive in appearance. Yellow and red water colors help create a soft, yet pronounced design. The Fenestra does lack some elements of symbolism, most notably the use of animals. Much like the Fool himself, this deck represents the beginning of the author’s tarot journey. It portrays naivety and innocence. The digital, visual appeal grabs you, to almost make you feel like you’re part of a masquerade ball. This deck is more modern, as it steers away from the traditional look. The Death card, unlike its predecessors, doesn’t instil fear. It actually looks like a knight ready to carry you away lol The Universal Waite Tarot masters the use of symbolism, which is heightened by their visual appeal. highly recommend this deck to beginners as it’s quite easy to read (due to the vast detail), per individual querent. The Sun for example, displays a cheerful, care-free child riding a T Each card of this deck represents an animal spirit guide which assists the reader in delivering messages. Enclosed, there are easy to follow instructions to best interpret the cards, “Messages From Your Animal Sprit Guide” reminds us to become more aware and attentive of the signs and omens the animals around us are trying to communicate. Curious thoughts may arise when a skunk crosses your path lol. Posted by: Sherise 1.) Imagining Being in a Bubble or Orb of Light The most basic technique for protecting oneself is to imagine being inside a ball of white light that turns away any energy before it can touch you. This bubble should extend about a foot above your head and at least 6 inches below your feet. Visualize yourself inside this bubble for a few minutes each day. 2.) Colors to Protect You and Your Aura 3.) The Gold Cross If you feel that a room needs protection, hang a gold or wooden cross on the west wall and facing east. This will help you sleep better and welcome those from the white light to be around you more. Wear a gold cross if you feel you need protection of your physical and psychological self. Keep a dream catcher your bedroom on the west wall, and facing east to help you to have good dreams. The natives believed that dream catchers ward of evil spirits. My purple dream catcher, with an angel pin, has been an excellent protector for the past 5 years. For years I have kept sea salt in containers around my home to absorb negative energies that have come into my home. I usually empty and refill them about every six months or more if I feel that it’s necessary. I also dilute it in a spray bottle and bless my home with it inside and out. I ask god, my angels and spirit guides to allow only good energies in my home. This can be difficult to come by but is important to have it whenever possible. I feel safer when I can pour holy water in and around my home to protect the good energies that are within and ward off any negative energy. I say my prayer to god, my angels and spirit guides. Particularly during a reading, lighting a white candle and saying a prayer for truth and good energies to surround you is an excellent way to protect yourself. Burning sage and walking with it around your home, through each room and each door way (while asking God for spiritual protection) will make your home feel safer. Sage can be quite smelly for a few days afterwards, so don’t use too much of it at a time. Look for the fortune in your tea! Don’t drink tea? That’s okay; you can use coffee grounds too! The practice of tea leaf readings has been around for thousands of years (so just a tad before I was born
), and were commonly seen at small town fairs, where Gypsy’s were fortune telling.

Pendulums have been used for centuries to assist in answering Yes or No questions to the enquirer. It is important when choosing a pendulum to close your eyes and hold it in your hand (can be left or right) over your index finger, and keep it still with your other hand under it, so that it can swing either back and forth or in a circular motion. The answer is Yes if the pendulum swings in a circle and No if it swings back and forth. I always say a little prayer prior to using it asking God and My Angels/Spirit Guides to please assist me with the truth of the matter. Prior to purchasing a pendulum or a Tarot deck I hold them straight in front of me and close my eyes and ask if this item will work for me – it will either pull you forward (which means Yes) or push you back (which means No). Make sure you’re standing over a carpeted area, in case it’s really not good for you and you fall to the floor lol Just kidding, it’s not that forceful.
This method has never failed me. Choosing a pendulum is a personal decision whether it is a crystal or a metal one. Try the above method and see if it works for you, you will be surprised how accurate it can be. Trust your intuition.

You shouldn’t be using divination tools if: you are not grounded, and or are unaware of how to use psychic protection (to ward off any grey or dark entities.) As entities are not always visible, it’s important to ensure that they really aren’t there. Or they just may see you in your birthday suit in the shower, and steal your soap! lol Not all of these personalities may wish harm, you may just get one that will do your dishes and take out your garbage
But in all seriousness, practicing protection and staying grounded can be crucial.
You may encounter astral beings that are attracted to your increased energy. You will know if you are under psychic attack if; you feel tired or drained when you are around someone, or you have some accidents that were preventable. To be in the white light of God, pray daily for spiritual protection, to your angels, and spirit guides. Your affirmation may come in the form of the positive results in using your divination tools.
Here are some of the most prevalent Protection Methods and Grounding Exercises.
Protection Methods
Imagine strong colours of white, silver, and or gold light around you. Completely enclose yourself in these colors from head to toe and side to side. Then about a foot away from your body, visualize moving towards it.
A cross is a strong form of spiritual protection. They are known to ward off bad spirits and bring forth good ones of the white light of God.
4.) Dream Catcher
5.) Sea Salt
6.) Holy Water
7.) White Candle
8.) Smudging with Sage
Exercise #2
1.) Picture tiny roots coming from the soles of your feet.
